The PMW-F3 is Sony’s new S35 replacement for the EX3. The body alone will retail for $16,000 so it is more then 3 times the price of the Panasonic AF100. It supports interchangeable lens mounts, records to SxS Cards at 35 Mbps at 4:2:0 8-bit in XDCAM EX format, and has HD-SDI dual-link outputs at the rear for external recording.
