    Hi Franz, RED has not announced the final pricing of the Scarlet but the fixed version should be about $6,000 for a ready to shoot package. As of right now the only place we know you can buy a Scarlet is http://www.red.com/store

    Pl inform when Red Scarlet will be available in India ( Mumbai ) and whether hands on will be made available for prospective buyers like me.
    Also pl enlist minimum accessories required for shooting feature film and indicate the total cost of the equipment.
    What is the minimum required configuration of computer hardware and software needed for editing the footage of RED Scarlet ?

    RED is shipping all of the Scarlets out of the US for now…I’m not sure when they plan to keep inventory in their Mumbai location. Your best bet is to call http://www.yashrajfilms.com/ where RED will have their India headquarters.
