SCARLET AVAILABLE FALL 2009
There are now 4 different Scarlet sensors in RED’s new DSMC modular camera system. There will be fixed lens 2/3″ 3k, interchangeable lens 2/3″ 3k, S35, and FF35 sensor versions.
The main spec that differentiates the Scarlet from the EPIC is framerates. The 2/3″ Scarlets max out at 150fps while the two larger Scarlets max out at 72fps. The EPIC cameras go all the way up to 350fps. The EPICs also have almost unlimited aspect ratios and use higher quality data rates for REDCODE RAW.

Ashish, the RED “cinema” 2/3″ interchangeable Scarlet is still on schedule to ship end of summer/fall ‘09. It can be purchased at RED’s online store once available. http://www.red.com/store.
