Hi Jay, this music video was not shot on a RED camera but with RED Pro Prime lenses on a 35mm film camera like this: http://www.nvmcs.com/nvmcs/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/ARRIFLEX_435_48019177cc143.jpg

The RED cameras are digital and shoot to Compact Flash cards, hard drive based recorders like the RED drive, or other solid state digital storage. You cannot shoot to 35mm film using a RED camera. Hollywood features shot on the RED camera are still transferred to 35mm film prints for showing in theaters, however, as 35mm film projectors are still the most common.

Hi, I need some help with understanding the 35mm film. As i am new to the camera world, finding information is hard as im not familiar with some of the technical words used. Im in love with Red Cameras, especially the Scarlet and thats what has got me interested in cameras. I would like to know what is 35mm film? Does Red Scarlet have the 35mm? Is 35 mm film something separate you buy and is it compatible with Scarlet? What is the benefit of a 35mm film? Where do you get a 35mm and how much? How do you connect it?

Thank you for your help.

Kind Regards,
