Why should I shoot with this camera?
The RED Epic is an S35mm+ (1.3 crop still equivalent) sensor camera that can shoot up to 120fps at 5k resolution (300fps at 2k). You are basically shooting 120 14mp RAW stills per second. The Epic sensor natively has over 13 stops of dynamic range. HDRx mode allows you to dial in up to 6 more stops of highlight protection giving you a maximum dynamic range of over 18 stops. With REDCODE RAW you can chose how much compression you need. REDCODE 10:1 allows you to shoot to CF cards or 4 hours of 5k on a RED drive while REDCODE 2.5:1 mathematically uncompressed gives you true lossless RAW but will require extremely fast SSD drives.

The Element Technica Atom (for Epic) and Neutron (for Scarlet) 3D rigs are by far the lightest and most compact 3D solutions available. The Atom rig has the electronics for genlocking and muxing built into the structure of the rig itself which allows for an almost wireless rig.
We offer a turnkey 3D solution, consulting with you in pre production, providing the 3D rig with rig tech and stereographer, onset RAW data verification and instant playback on a 3D monitor and finally walking you through every step of post production.
ATOM RIG
- WEIGHT: As low as 36lbs for a shooting rig
- ELECTRONICS: Genlock and muxing are built right into the structure of the rig
