   Been waiting on this one for ages.I can see the difference from the first protoyypr design to now.
   Yes they went with a bigger better format and kit to up the ante.Red bring this camera out.Fine tune it ,then slaughter Panasonic,Sony and others.We cameramen/cinematographers etc begged your predessors all to deliever a pofessional camera at reasonable prices.Now some one has come along and having no 50-70 years experience behind them.Has brought out what we asked for and then some.
   Now pay the consequences.Panasonic you brought out a fair recording medium the P2.But a bad CCD.Sony a good sensor but to high a compression.You both fooled the public,realising small incremental improvements from model to model.Now your standing on a Termite mound with Everest before you.How are you going to top that.
   The Scarlet,Epic etc will slay all before it.The old Kings are dead,long live the new King.

   I absolutely fully concur with every single word of RICK IDAK. I’ve never read an entire blog or statement in my life, and agreed with every single letter and word from beginning to end, and not only agree, but feel deep inside my heart. I actually literally had to let out a blast of vocal energy at the end of reading Rick’s thoughts on how the Camera industry has screwed themselves by always leading us down this slow innovation miner improvement bull crap… and now a new company on the scene is killing the century old dogs… Wow… Goodbye and Good RIDDANCE SONY/PANASONIC/PanaVision/Canon/ARRI/ etc etc etc… Nah nah nah nahhhh nah nah nah naaaaaahhh… HEY HEY>.. GOOD BYE!
