The Element Technica Atom rig is designed specifically for the RED Epic camera and has all of the 3D electronics and boards integrated right into the structure of the 3D rig. The lightweight magnesium version is ideal for handheld 3D and can weigh as little as 36lbs ready to shoot. The Atom will be able to record lens metadata as well as feeding metadata to the rig.

  • Optional integrated FIZ electronics. Eliminate up to 2 external lens control boxes
  • Bare rig weight in hand held config: 19lbs
  • Bare rig weight in studio config: 24lbs
  • Ready to shoot system weight under 40 lbs possible

MAGNESIUM
The magnesium versions are more expensive but shave 5 pounds off the weight of the rig and are perfect for shooting handheld 3D. The rig alone weighs only 14lbs and only 36lbs with two Epics and lenses.
