Update 03/12/2009: This is a screen grab from the 2/3″ Scarlet with the S35 100mm PL mount RED PRO PRIME. Shot at T5.6 with the lizard about 4-5 inches from the lens.
This wide image was shot with the 35mm RED PRO PRIME at t5.6.
Jarred from RED has just posted the first frame grab from a 2/3″ Scarlet.
Here is the original RAW file. Shot on the Scarlet 2/3″ prototype with an Alpha 25mm Mini Prime at 3k @24fps.
This image was shot with a Scarlet 2/3″ Prototype, lensed with the new RED PRO 85mm PL at 3k@24fps, T5.6. Because this is a 2/3″ sensor attached to an S35 lens there is a crop factor on the image. The above image was shot on a RED mini prime which is designed for the 2/3″ sensor.

Will the scarlett be sold through direct sales online or will we be able to get it from dealer outlets?
RED’s original plan for the 3k 2/3″ Scarlet camera was to sell it through large dealers like B&H photo. As far as we know that is still their plan. I am guessing the S35 and FF35 Scarlets will only be sold directly from RED. This is just speculation though.
How much price for red scarlet 2/3 pl mount with full accessoris
RED has not announced the price of the modules yet so it is impossible for me to say. The brain alone for the 2/3″ is $2,500.
its worth buying and i think red is a company which is more interested in costumer satisfaction not just sell the product, because they know they are The Best in the market.
I see these images, they look good, but they contain no exif data. Where are the actual image files?
Rich, I doubt the prototype Scarlet writes EXIF to the image file at this point in development.
